Tasted on-tap 10/06/05 at the OD brewpub in Ashburn, VA.

Murky chocolate/coffee brown color with a low light brown head. The smell and aroma was primarily malty and lightly roasty with just a touch of burnt wood and smoke character. Not enough "Rauch" in my book for the style... Medium body and easy drinking but certainly a light example of the style in terms of smokiness.

Not one I'd run back to.
