Acquired via trade from dsigmon courtesy of the Ugly Ducking BIF, so a big "Thank You" goes out to him. Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a medium brown color, with a thin off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is of caramelized malts, honey, brown sugar, some citrus and a little bit of hops.
T: The taste is sweet up front with flavors of honey, caramel, brown sugar nuts and some citrus. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and there's a mild hops presence that provides some balance. The after-taste is sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, light-to-medium body, light-to-medium carbonation, finish is sticky.
D: A little tasty, goes down easy, not too filling, decent kick, decent representation of style, it's a sessionable beer but not one that I would pick if there were many others choose from.
