Enjoyed with a jerked pork taco.

I found a nice, mineraly hop bite and a pleasantly crisp bready maltiness. No off flavors to speak of.

This won't make me forget all of my favorite PA pilsners, but this was damn good.

On tap at Pickled Pig, Rehoboth Beach DE. Hazy golden color with thick, long lasting eggshell-colored head. Crisp, clean taste with a bit of citrus although malt dominates initially. Very subtle sweetness morphing into a restrained hops bitterness. Moderate carbonation and body. Refreshing beach beer, but not something that'll change your worldview.

A lager with unusual attitude for the summer, thanks to hops and citrus.

Interesting brewer.
A: May win best looking pilsner next to Dogfish Imperial. Hazed golden body, with a 2 finger, merengue white head, that lasts and laces.
S: Pitch perfect grassiness. Inviting. clean crackery body, with pine and yeast evident. A bit laid back.
T: Refreshing, follows smell, but more so. Ample herbal/pine bitterness on the finish. With fine notes of honey, pine, lemon, grass. White Crackers, almost saltines. Clean.
F: Clean finish. Really enjoyable. Great food beer. A bit fizzy.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 5/29/2014. Pours slightly hazy golden straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, orange zest, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange zest, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, pepper, pine, and herbal earthiness. Good amount of earthy herbal/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange zest, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, pepper, pine, and herbal earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean in flavor as well with minimal yeast ester presence. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Czech pilsener style. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Average to slightly below average hoppier pilsner. The earthy hops do not seem to mesh well with the pilsner malt. Decent beach beer, but I prefer others in the style.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass.

A: Pours a clear golden color. A lot of white-colored head is formed, at around two fingers high. Retention is pretty solid, with webs of lacing being left on the glass.

S: There's definitely Saaz in here - that grassiness is unmistakable. As it opens up slightly, a gentle fruity sweetness appears. Crackery malts and mild diacetyl appear throughout. It doesn't set the world on fire aromatically, but it hits my preferences for a pilsner really well.

T: It starts with a mild malt sweetness, while the finish is pretty much Saaz grassiness. It goes down superbly, plain and simple. Still, some of the bitterness could be balanced out better, and some of the malts could be - if not richer - more defined in flavor.

M: Really damn crisp and light. It really is effortless, and it doesn't rely on excess carbonation to get the job done. The feel itself is nicely balanced - not too sweet nor too biting.

O: Nothing special, but wow is it easy to drink. I could easily drink a six pack, so something right was done here. Still, it's far from my favorite pilsner.
