From 02/04/11 notes. Had on tap at The Iron Horse in DC. Served in a tulip.
a - Pours a dark black color with an inch of off white head and moderate carbonation evident.
s - Smells of roasted malts, toasted malts, chocolate, andd light citrus.
t - Tastes of roasted malts, citrus hops, and toasted malts.
m - Medium body and moderate carbonation.
d - A decent beer, but a style I'm still a bit confused by. Lots of roasted malts in it and very light citrus hops; not really sure how it's considered an IPA. Either way a nice roasty beer; would give another shot.
