On tap at the brewery.
Nice dark brown colored looking beer. There's a sticky looking tan head with great lacing.
The aroma is a light smooth coffee aroma. There's nutty notes also to the nose.
Smooth coffee flavor up front. The flavor lasts. The flavor is nicely roasted. Some notes of malt with hints of nuts in the flavor with some chocolatealso. There's quite a bit of bitterness on the back. The bitterness does seem a touch much for the beer.
The body is smooth feeling up front. This full smoothness does fade to a bitterness feeling that lingers in my throat .
Very good beer overall, though the bitterness is a touch much. Would be higher if dialed back a touch.
