From Hipercor. In Teku glass. Watching Maze Runner 2. No foam, acid in nose and taste. Probably contamined. Disgusting. To the sink

Deep amber colour, with red hints to the light. Small head that fades soon, leaving a nice lace and ring. Aroma of honey, chocolate, licorice, spices. I'd swear there's some hint of leaf bay. Medium body, avergae carbonation, sticky palate. Taste of honey, chocolate, figs, raisins, licorice. Surpringly good.

A: Appearance wise, Blomberg's Caramel Dubbel is well below average. I thought that I was going to find some beer that had already some thought into its presentation but not. The body is way too opaque but it might be due to the Caramel added. The foam did not last long, no lacing and almost no carbonation.
S: The smell is kinda normal being a bit more alcoholic than expected. Caramel is, as expected, very prominent. The roastiness of the malt is slightly felt.
T: The taste is poor, it's not rich as I expected from previous dubbels that I had in the past. Again, it's more alcohol but now I wanted to chew some caramel but its just normal of even below average of the carameliness founded in dubbels.
M: The mouthfeel is best characteristic of this beer, being very smooth and velvety even though the carbonation is considered to be at low levels.
O: Overall I was expecting more. Happily I bought more beers from this producer and I will give it a try to check how their doing their beers. They to (re)think the presentation and the taste that should've been more richer for the kind of beer that we're talking about.
