Brewed as a light Barleywine and hopped with English Fuggles hops and New Zealand Nelson Sauvin. Aged in Caribbean rum barrels for 20 months which has given the beer more color, delicious rum flavor and notes of aging in wooden barrels.

Copenhagen 17/4 026. 33 cl can from Beershoppen web-shop. A lot of wood and brown color on the can together with their wordplay name of the beer in white letters and their weird spelling of "Caribbean" .
Pours opaque, murky, dark brown with a smal off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a paper thin rim of foam running along the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a boozy, sugary sweet odor taking no prisoners. Brown sugar in abundance, caramel and toffee. Raisins and plums, Dark rum. Potent and searing. Whiff of sour grains. Vinous in the heavy dessert wine meaning of the word.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a tart and sour undertone. Lingering. Finish is sweet dessert wine.
Boozy, sweet wine.
