Copenhagen 23/4 026. 33 cl can from Beershoppen web-shop. A lot of wood and brown color on the can together with their wordplay name of the beer in white letters.
Pours opaque, murky, dark brown with a small off-white head. Bubbly. Disappears fairly fast leaving a murky fluid behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a boozy, sugary sweet odor. Brown sugar in abundance, caramel and toffee. Raisins and plums, Sweet Bourbon. Potent and searing. Vinous as a sugary, heavy dessert wine.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and quite boozy with a tart undertone. Lingering. Finish is surprisingly bitter and dry with a healthy amount of alcohol.
Boozy, sweet yet quite dry wine.
