not retired this is on tap here now, must just come out for the summer time. its a tasty beer, and i like that it has more malt character than a lot of these do, with a distinct pils sort of grainy base, not just a generic light barley but some real european flare to it, which in one sense serves to make this just a little heavier than i anticipated for the style, but also gives it a lot more depth than a typical blonde has, and i appreciate that at the same time that it slows the whole thing down a little bit. the honey isnt quite as floral and robust as it might be, but it adds a natural and light summery sweetness to this thats sunny and bright and not at all problematic for me, if this was any drier, the honey wouldnt have any flavor contribution. faint clover and elderflower here, maybe a little hop bitterness to finish, and a little bit of body too. not quite as well carbonated as i wish it was, but i like the flavors and reckon this is a little bit underrated here. it must have improved since they made it last, i liked this pretty well!
