Sick of maurading armies, our brewer's ancestors left the Palatinate as refugees in the early 1700s for England, taking the first Palatine ship to New York City, and spread out over cities and country alike, establishing the Rohrbach lines that survive to this day. This beer honours this story, using German malts in an English way with American hops to make a refreshing pale ale, meant to survive the times.

look: 3.75 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5
Appearance: It has a nice hazy golden/orange color to it. It has a nice white head that dies down moderately fast and leaves light lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of bready malts, a light toastiness, faint honey and some herbal hops.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has some bready/toasty malts upfront, light honey and a light grassy/herbal bitterness from the hops.

Mouthfeel: It has a low-med carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied by good flavors and aromas.

Serving type: Can
