Cornwall was Native countryside for millenia. In the late 1700s, it was named Pointe Maligne by the French, then renamed twice by United Empire Loyalists: Royal Township #2, which then became New Johnstown. This British style is not particulary bitter, and very drinkable. The "bitter" moniker signified it as using hops more than its historical contemporaries. Here's to New Johnstown's Best Bitter. Cheers (and thanks to Stuart Manson for setting our historical details straight on this one)!

Appearance: It has a nice hazy golden/orange/copper color to it. It has a nice thick off-white head that dies down moderately slow and leaves some spotty lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of bready and toasty malts, some nuttiness, light herbal/earthy hops and a faint fruitiness.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has loads of bready/toasty malts upfront, a light nuttiness, light herbal hops and a faint fruitiness.

Mouthfeel: It has a low-med carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied by good flavors and aromas. Solid Bitter!
