Belgian blue bulls are curiosities - muscular, strong, and beautiful, they are genetic oddities that lack a feedback mechanism to stop producing muscle. Belgian beers are curiosities as well - high in alcohol, but drinkable, and often - as with this belgian golden strong - dangerously so. The label gives it away - this beer is delicious, but Dangereux. You have been warned ;)

Appearance: It has a beautiful hazy golden/orange color to it. It has a nice thick off-white head that dies down moderately fast and leaves light lacing.
Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of cloves, banana, light black pepper, honey, some breadiness and Belgian yeast esters.
Taste: Like the aromas, it has a nice fruitiness (bananas and pears mainly) some cloves, light black pepper, light sweet honey, some breadiness and Belgian yeast.
Mouthfeel: It has a low-med carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.
Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied by good flavors and aromas. Complex and refreshing.
Serving type: can
