Draft at the Public House on the Lake. Orange golden pour, hazy, small skin of head.Citrusy, hoppy aroma turns dank upon first sip. Still citrusy, more oranges, bitter and sour. Nice complex palate.

Poured from a 16oz can into a tulip glass. It's a deep amber color, definitely clear. The nose is sweet clementines and lemon zest. The taste is citrus fruity with some malt character that finishes dry and hoppy. I get stonefruit, orange, grapefruit, lemongrass over a bread crust malt. Body is medium with low carbon. Awesome imperial double IPA, cheers.

Pours clear bright yellow with a huge long-lasting white head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma is citrusy. Flavor follows the nose, bold citrus fairly sweet with a hint of hoppy bitterness in the finish. Feel is light bodied and well carbonated. Overall, this is delicious. Listed as a NEIPA on this site. Definitely not hazy. Can describes it as a Double IPA.

16oz can. Bottom stamp is 'CANNED ON: 02/24/25'.
Mostly clear, pale gold colored body. Two finger white head, and this slowly recedes to be a cap and high ring.
Aroma of sweet orange and lemon citrus.
Taste is orange, grapefruit, red grape, and sweet bread malts, including caramel. Aftertaste loses the sweetness and expresses orange and lemon.
Medium mouthfeel. Higher ABV% is well hidden, no sting, no burn. Excellent carbonation.
Has a standard slightly old-school double IPA taste profile

Served in a pint glass from the can.
Appearance: Hazy orange tinted gold body with a white head with an initial rise of about one fingers length off the body.
Smell: grassy aroma, hints of lemon and caramel malt. It's good but the scent dissipates quickly after one sniff.
Taste: Semi sweet and heavy malty brew. I love the citrus notes consisting of lemon and pink grapefruit. It's a very juicy beer, almost thirst quenching.
Mouth: Medium to soft carbonation, sticky body.
Overall: I had this brew so many times and many other gems from Lord Hobo, definitely a must grab for any NEIPA fan. Smooth enough for anyone to list, always in a glass. Salud!

Lots of muted citrus/grapefruit with a big, rounded malty foundation that keeps the fruitiness in check. I had one right after some Lone Pine Tessellation, and it's like that, but more subtle (less sharp citrus element, and less graininess). I like it, although I see some mixed reviews here--don't think of it as a "NEIPA" with all the cloying loud flavors that entails and you'll probably like it more.

Well; In my opinion too malty and not crisp enough. Also the hops are too much in the background. Carbonation is ok but overall it lacks a lot compared to other DIPAs.

Tasted on tap at The Craft Bar in Fort Walton Beach, FL. I was having dinner with a group and was unable to do a full breakdown and review, but here are my impressions.
Appearance was nice for an IPA, straw colored but very clear. Not the hazy NEIPA I was expecting to get from a brewery in the home region of the style. The aromas were muted and only featured some tropical fruit hops with a little herbal, almost funky flourish at the finish. No malt character in the nose. Flavors of light tropical fruit and citrus hops, no malt contribution or other aspects to give any depth. Mouthfeel was good for the style. High hops bitterness, but not extreme. Overall, I'd call this a decent tropical IPA, but I was disappointed that it was missing the haziness, thick body and round fruitiness that I was hoping for in a NEIPA from Massachusetts.

Served on draft at Plan B in Springfield MA. Arrived to the table a golden straw color. Not much in the way of foam I was but there is a good dose of lacing down the glass.
Aroma was a little lackluster. Plenty of citrus as well as some caramel malts. Flavor is a little sweet for my liking. Lots of caramel sweetness and malty stickiness. Nice orange and citrus flavors but just too sweet for me.
Not really a fan but nightingale intrinsically wrong with it.

The date on the bottom of the can is overlapping with the edge, but it appears to read: "CANNED ON: 01/12/23 02:07:24"
Purchased from Halftime Beverage online.
Appearance: The body is a medium shade of amber with hints of dark gold. It is hazy but it is easy to see through. There is a fluffy white head which has very good retention. It stands for a long time in the glass. There are nice wisps of lacing which also form a shallow slope against the side of the glass.
Aroma: It smells like candy oranges, specifically the orange gummy slices. There is a light caramel aroma which accompanies the orange aroma.
Taste: Candy orange slices come through up front, then there is a light caramel sweetness at the tip of the tongue. Towards the middle of the palate there is a bit of lemon flavor which elevates the orange quite a bit. A touch of lime towards the back of the mouth. It takes on a bit of a limeade character near the rear of the palate which is very refreshing and tastes great.
Mouthfeel: The beer is light-bodied, easy drinking, and very refreshing. It has this semi-dry finish which really hits the spot. There is a mellow citrus bitterness that spikes with this lemon-lime bitterness right near the end of the tongue. It hits the tongue right at the spot you would want it to, just after there is a light sweetness on the palate. It helps balance things out and also simultaneously cleans the palate off for the next sip. The label on the can also states that this is "8% ALC/VOL" and it is worth pointing out that alcohol never shows up in the aroma, flavor, or mouthfeel of this beer. This beer has a perfect mouthfeel that really can't be improved on.
Overall: This beer was a complete surprise. It starts out with this orange flavor which can often come across as marmalade, but in this instance it was joined by flavors of lemon and lime which gave it this limeade flavor...like orange limeade. It had a perfect body which was light and refreshing with a semi-dry finish that only helped amplify the flavors. This beer was exceptionally well made and I will be looking out for more from this brewery. I highly recommend it. I would buy it again easily.
