I'm drinking the regular Boom Sauce, but it wasn't listed.
Not a bad IPA².

Look: It pours hazy gold with an off white head. It has very good head retention.

Smell: There are tropical aromas with some stone fruit. There are some background notes of orange and papaya.

Taste: There are tropical flavors with some stone fruit. The stone fruits is most like apricots. There are also some orange elements and a touch of lime.

Feel: It has a medium full body with an aftertaste on the sweet side.

Overall: A quite flavorful beer that is quite juicy as well.

Hazy, orange color. Nice, white head.Pleasant aroma of tropical fruits ( mango and melon mostly) . Fruity taste with distinctive hoppy bitterness. A good one.

16oz. Can, 10 weeks old. Pours clear, slight yellowish. Smell is faint, pineapple, citrusy, I repeat, faint. Taste is nothing noteworthy, nor negative. Mouthfeel is full, due to prominent carbonation. Overall, not a bad beer, nothing exceptional to make me return. Your results may be different.

2023 review of Lord Hobo Galaxy Double Dry-Hopped Boom Sauce: Double dry-hopped? maybe, since there is no significant hoppy flavor one would expect. The nose was deceiving; this one tastes mildly fruity with lighter hop notes. Seems like Lord Hobo (thankfully) skipped added lactose, because there's no slimy mouth feel. Medium-light on the pallet. Overall I really enjoyed sipping it slowly and enjoyed the lower carbonation level and higher ABV - I only need to drink one! Would buy again. 4/5 for attributes I care about most.

Looks inviting from first pour. Rolls smoothly right from the first sip and is enjoyable throughout. Definitely on my radar going forward.

Pint can into a pint glass.
Nice little foamy head.
Kinda smelled weird. Maybe the can is a bit old?
Taste is pretty flat for the style, a bit of mixed fruit and a hop note.
Feel is medium and medium carbonation.
Overall, maybe if the canned date was legible I’d get a better impression of this one.,.

Golden yellow with an 1/2" white head, which fades to a wisp. Light lacing. A few suspended particles.

Aroma is floral, pine, grapefruit, orange.

Taste is pine, grapefruit zest, pineapple, orange, earthy, resinous.

Medium body, moderate carbonation. Dry, resinous finish.

This is a very good NEIPA.

Nice hazy gold with good head and retention…malt extract smell and taste…good for a quick buzz but not worthy of a DIPA title. Yucky.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the Woburn brewery location as part of a four sample flight. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had wonderful tropical fruit hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Boom Sauce is a standard (albeit good) DIPA, but VERY different from Hazy Boom Sauce.

There is nothing citrusy, grapefruity, or dry hopped about this beer. Almost no smell. The look, taste, and feel are what would be expected of a DIPA. Bitter up front, bitter body, bitter aftertaste.

It’s a “good” DIPA, but nowhere in the same league as the world-class Hazy Boom Sauce.

A common drill is to pour the contents of a pint can into a clear glass Imperial pint mug. The process has been repeated, once again. The color is a bright, yet not deep amber, with a minimal head. There is a good DIPA smell of hops first and malt second. This drinks very well, with a solid malt body adding just that little sweetness and extra flavor dimension to make a great IPA. But, those of us that love DIPAs know, we're here for the hops. We are not disappointed. This has an amazing full hop character without being overly bitter. It's mainstream hoppy, not juicy, citrusy, piney, earthy, nor resinous. This has just the right balance of hop character, carried by a solid malt body, to please any hop-head. Probably the best yet from The Lord.
