Cloudy but not like a New England IPA, amber colored. Good initial head which settles to a thin film of bubbles. Occasional spots for lace.
Grapefruit rind along with berry sweetness and tropical fruits. Sweet like Juicy-fruit.
Very rich body but with an elevated effervescence to prevent this beer from becoming too syrupy. Still, this is a sweeter IPA. The malt is powerful initially with the warmth of alcohol present. This grows through the swallow as does the bittering hop which never quite balances the sugar. This is a boozy IPA without enough bittering kick to balance the flavor.
