Deep, nearly black color. Light only passes on the extreme edge of the glass. Tan head which leaves spots for lace.
Clean chocolate milk aroma. Light on the chalk with a faint caramel and coffee touch.
The flavor is drier than the smell indicates. I also get more black coffee. Neutral body with an elevated carbonation level. The initial sip is mild, but the swallow draws out an ashen dry burnt patent malt finish. Dry, black coffee aftertaste. Surprisingly low alcohol presence.
