Canned 6-2020. Old but still solid! If only it were fresh. To late now.

this is working for me. canned 6/29/20, consumed 9/10/20, so good job by my local beer monger getting it to me pretty fresh (but room for improvement!). the only weird thing about this beer is that it's a "Museum" can with a V label slapped on it. seems to be a different beer since they have different abv & also different price point at my local shop...
L: drinking from the can. points off for slapping a new label on an old can so obviously.
S: lots of overripe tropical fruit. mango, sweet citrus. pleasant and sweet.
T: lives up to the nose. mango, passionfruit, tangerine. somewhat boozy but i can live with it. tasty brew!
F: rich and smooth. nice.
O: very nice job by hobo. bonus points for a V year anniversary. congrats & best wishes for many more!

From the 16 oz. can dated 06/17/20. Sampled on July 5 2020.
This beer celebrates this brewery's fifth anniversary and it is a on-off Triple IPA.
The pour is an amber color with a fading white head. Good clarity. Very traditional.
The aroma features caramel malts at first but then there is an earthy hop and peach character coming up from behind.
Medium but smooth mouthfeel.
Pretty straight forward caramel malts with a mild to moderate earthy bitterness to finish things off. It's 10% so the booze is basically non-existent an that to me says a lot - in a positive way.
Happy fifth anniversary Lord Hobo.
