Start with a pour from a pint can into a clear glass Imperial pint mug. A foamy stark white head sets off initial disappointment. That's not what should be on top of any IPA. The liquid is a bright pale amber, very translucent for the New England style IPA. It really looks more like a Hefeweizen than a true NEIPA. There's an abundance of carbonation. The aroma is a mild dose of fruity hops and not much more. The mouthfeel is NEIPA soft. Maybe it's an unfamiliarity with Kveik yeast, but this has a peculiar taste and not in a good way. The pineapple-like fruitiness just overpowers any other specific aspect of the taste. There's almost no glass lacing at all, but it was nice to see some sediment cloud things just a little as the can emptied. The 8% ABV is very nicely concealed. Unfortunately, so is any IPA hop character. NEIPAs are supposed to have a softened hop presence. Even in its finish, there's practically none here. This really is only for those that like their IPAs to taste like fruit juice. You can adjust to the Kveik yeast.

Pours a hazy gold. Big foam. Light fruity aroma. Big fruit juice body. Not a lot of hop flavor. Spicy finish with little to no bitterness. It almost tastes like a Christmas ale. Its not bad but not what I would call on IPA. The cans pretty cool though.

An easy pour released a finger of off-white creamy foam with long retention and streaks of lacing. Cloudy orange-straw body, opaque with orange highlights.

Full hoppy smell of citrus and pineapple greets the nose, bready malt and wheat in the background.

Semi-sweet with average bitterness at first, it is juicy AND malty. Citrus hops lead the pack with bready and toasted malt a close 2nd. Pineapple and some mango round out the taste. The finish is kinda long with the bitterness rising to high as it dries to neutral. Peppery and spicy bitterness lingers as fruit flavors fade during the aftertaste.

Medium bodied with plenty of carbonation, smooth and juicy (and malty) with well hidden booze. This beer was listed as a AIPA, I have suggested the style be changed to NEIPA and have reviewed it as such.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Luke's in Plymouth for about fourteen dollars. My ninth brew from these guys. Like every other beer that I have had from these guys, this is middle of the road.

Poured into a 16 oz tulip glass, canned on 5/05/21. Pours a cloudy dark yellow with a half finger sticky white head that leaves plenty of thick streaks of lace, with solid retention. 4

Aroma peach, papaya, mandarin, honeydew, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4

Taste follows peach, mandarin, papaya, honeydew, apricot, and a little grapefruit in the rather balanced finish. 4

Mouthfeel is above average, fairly gentle carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 8% ABV it goes down really easy. 4

Overall this is good, nothing dazzling but I will have no issue finishing this 4 pack. Worth a shot for sure. 4

Pours a translucent orange with a small fluffy head and light lacing.

In the can it smells of floral piney hops. In the glass it has light smells of citrus and pineapple.

Tastes of sweet pineapple and lightly tart citrus with a slightly bitter finish.

Medium light body with light carbonation. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel.

This is a very drinkable, mild mannered and reasonably powerful NEIPA. It's juicy and hoppy but not bombastic.

Not really sure what’s going on here.

Poured into pint glass

Look: Hazy, as advertised. Dece lacing, middling head.

Smell: juicy, as promised. Some fruity, citrus notes. A bit tropical.

Taste: this is where we start going south. Label talks about some weird Kveik yeast, but doesn’t indicate how far this yeast leads it astray from the earlier “hazy juice bomb”descriptor. If hoppy Pilsner = juice bomb to you, the they are right on track. But I’m left with malt on the palette; not hops or juiciness. Not sure wtf they’re describing here.

Feel: does have a nice mouthfeel tho, good mild carbonation and oily, resinous mouthfeel afterward.

Overall: won’t be back for more, especially at that price. Way more traditional, if malty, ipa flavor than “hazy New England DIPA”. Certainly not juicy. Some will like it, but if you’re marketing it like that you’re missing your market.
