I brought some cans of this beer home from a trip to Boston for my son's hockey tournament. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had tart tangerine notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tangerine and orange cream presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Agree that this is a rock-solid 6% IPA.
A) Body of hazy orange yellow with lasting, sticky, lacing white head.
S) Aromas of stone fruits and fruit salad including nectar: peach, mango, and apricot.
T) Follow aroma with added tangerine, grapefruit slices, and rind, the whole fruit cocktail.
F) Juicy, creamy, rich, bigger than 6% which is what I love about it.
O) Sum is greater than the parts, well made. Buy 24.

I tried this from a 12oz Lord Hobo assortment. It was a tasty IPA. I liked it. My wife chose it as her favorite in the variety. She bought a four pack of tall cans a few days later and absolutely hated it. I couldn't understand but when I tasted it I realized the 12oz cans in the assortment were TOTALLY different. The tall cans she bought had a completely different flavor and were terribly tart...I mean like diluted lemonade. Just sour and really horrible. I tried to drink one the next day and couldn't hack it. I trashed the two cans we had left.

It's like they took Boom Sauce and tried to turn it into Orange Julius from Treehouse. Which is a good thing, since I love both beers. It has the right amount of fruitiness and IPA flavors in it, but you can actually buy it at the grocery store instead of driving for across the state/country to get it.

Saddened by this one - was expecting a juice bomb and got a dud. Pretty tame on flavor, maybe I gto an old batch. I'll stick with LH Hobo Life which is a solid NEIPA.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Long Ridge Wine in Plymouth for about fourteen dollars. My 10th brew from these guys. I find most LH beers to be good, but not great. I was a bit disappointed in this one,not much flavor.

I think the name is misleading, I don't find all that juicy but what I found out about it was that it's packed with flavor as all the other reviews mention. I woulda called it Flavor Lord, I think it's much more fitting. I don't think you can go wrong with this selection, it's damn good.

Got this from a beer rep today canned on 3/29/21. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a 2 plus finger sticky white head, that leaves thick streaks of lace with nice retention. 4.25
Aroma is tangerine, peach, mango, and apricot. 4
Taste follows a tad more assertive tangerine, peach, mango, passionfruit, and apricot pretty balanced and slightly juicy. 4
Mouthfeel is about average, fairly soft gentle carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 6% drinks a tad bigger. 4.25
Overall this is a rock solid NEIPA at a solid price. Worth a shot in my opinion. 4

Nothing like an afternoon trip to the juice bar. I met our new juice lord after a round of golf and man, it hit the spot. A deliciously well crafted NEIPA from the Hobos. Jam packed with citrus and it had exceptional froth to the body. It came in a cool pink can, too. We will certainly have to pick up a pack of these, maybe even take them on the course next time.

I generally like Lord Hobo beers, though the name of this beer gave me pause. I like juicy IPA, but was worried that the Hobo masters were going to go too far. They did not. This is a nicely balanced NE IPA. The taste includes a medley of pineapple, citrus and hops. A nice cloudy pour, with an average head, and good feel. I will be looking for this in the future, and share with my good friends.

Meh. Name is a misnomer. Not particularly juicy. Almost Pilsner-ish tang to it. Definitely others in the category that I’d spend my $13 on.
