Pours with a quick fading, finely bubbled head. Aroma is mostly roasted malt. Flavor follows suit - roasted malt, some unexpected bitterness from the hops, and hints of chocolate. Mouthfeel is closer to creamy than not. Overall, a decent stout, not the greatest but still good.

Thses days, only in dreams will the contents of two twelve ounce cans of a brew fit inside a clear glass liter mug. This dark chocolate colored brew does so, with its modest, yet enduring tan head. There isn't much aroma to be had, possibly some roasted malt may be discerned. It also drinks as a stout, without much additional flavoring. Imperial Stout with Chocolate? OK, but there seems to be chocolate references in many stouts that don't have it as an ingredient. This admits to including chocolate, but it brings it ever so subtlety. This is a nice, but not great American Stout, that brings a hint of real chocolate to the taste. No glass lacing to mention, nor added compliments. This is very OK and just a little short of very good stout.
