From a pint can, it emptied like most others. With the can's contents now inside a clear glass liter mug, the nearly translucent, but full amber color is revealed. The off-white head was a little exorbitant, but it settled quickly. The aroma is like an ordinary beer, but more salty, certainly not sour nor bitter. It's a pleasant drink. Nothing spectacular, just a nice ale with hints of dill, salt and vinegar. The mouthfeel is commendably soft and smooth, especially considering pickle juice is neither. The stratified glass lacing is also a positive for the visual. Don't let your negative feelings about pickle juice, if you have any, keep you from trying this one. The taste reference is only subtley there. It provides a nice extra flavor within a very pleasant ale that would stand on its own merit without the welcomed additional flavor.
