Crafted with Bostonians in mind, 617 White Ale is the perfect beer to enjoy on a hot summer day at the ballpark, or around a cozy fire on a cold New England night. Pouring pale yellow with a light haze, this medium-bodied unfiltered wheat beer has subtle notes of sweet orange peel rounded out by hints of clove. Bright orange and citrus flavors are balanced out by a slight bitterness that finishes crisp, inviting you to take another refreshing sip. #FIERCELYBOSTON

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The brew pours a lightly hazed pale yellow color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time and leaving a decent sum of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather strong of a wheat and orange smell mixed with a good sum of spice of coriander and clove. Along with these smells comes notes of a sweet banana as well as some light grain and lemon.
Taste – The taste follows the nose rather well, beginning strong of a wheat bread and orange taste mixed with a light lemon and some clove. As the taste advances on the tongue the clove gets more intense and is joined by a bit of banana and coriander, as well as a touch f grapefruit, leaving one with a nice easy natured orange wheat taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a nice moderate carbonation level. For the style and the tastes, the feel is great and makes for a nice easy sipper.
Overall – A rather easy drinking and refreshing brew that is great for a summer day.
