Listed as a cold IPA
Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed golden amber color with a small head of fizzy white foam. The head fades quite fast, leaving a light level of bubbly lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell -The aroma is light overall, but heaviest of a bready and crisp cracker aroma mixed with a bit of grain. There is also a touch of grapefruit and herb and a hint of apricot.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp cracker and corn like malt flavor mixed with a bit of herbal and floral hop. As the taste advances the hop gets slightly stronger and is joined by a touch of hay and grain. With a touch of lemon coming in at the end, one is left with a crisp and somewhat malt liquor like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is slightly higher and more effervescent. For the style and the flavors the feel is good and makes for a very easy sipper.
Overall - Not really that hop heavy, and more malt tasting in nature to me. No bad, but nothing exceptional either.
