Second beer reviewed from the Lord Hobo Variety Pack. Purchased at Pennridge Beverage, Perkasie, PA
Pours a hazy, orange color. Mostly opaque. Good amount of lacing left on my glass.
Aromas of hops and tropical fruits.
A decent IPA. The normal flavors of tropical fruits (pineapple, mango, lemon, grapefruit) mixed with a malty backbone. Tangy, slightly bitter aftertaste. The ABV is barely noticeable.
Medium carbonation, creamier mouthfeel.
Call it IPA burnout but lately all these hazy IPAs are starting to taste very similar. Nothing sets this apart from the many, many different IPAs I’ve reviewed. Not that the beer isn’t good, it’s just so similar to so many other brews…cheers!
