Poured from a growler into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear, reddish tinted amber color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather quickly, leaving a touch of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a wheat smell mixed with a good showing of cherry. Along with these smells comes notes of biscuit and a touch of hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp wheat and grain taste mixed with a little bit of must and a strong cherry taste. The taste is somewhat artificial, but actually has a nice flavor profile, sorta like a cherry flavored hard candy. As the taste advances the cherry gets a bit more intense, all while the slightly sweeter tastes fade, leaving one with a crisp, somewhat artificial, but rather pleasant taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a moderate and prickly carbonation.
Overall – While the cherry flavor is somewhat artificial, it is still rather tasty, and with the rest of the flavors and feels, it makes for a quite nice sipper.
