Yea that is way too hoppy to be a pilsner! It's good though. Had a nice head after pour. Dissipated after a little while. Is that a subtle citrus flavor in there? I like it, just a too much hop for my preference.

A superb Pilsner that looks perfect, and smells and tastes great with great clean maltiness. The only off thing is that the hoppiness is dialed up to almost west coast ipa bitterness levels. So technically I think this would be more of a Czech pilsner, or just not fully true to style. Very tasty though, especially for an Iowa brewed pilsner!
