Enjoyed on-tap at the brewpub. Presented in a small tulip glass.
1" dark brown head over the opaque dark brown/black brew. Aroma was hearty dark malts with notes of raisins. Taste was heavily of sweet chocolate grains, with the raisins and alcohol coming on strong at the close. Mouthfeel was a bit on the harsh side, but the variety of flavors would keep me coming back.
