Poured a light copper hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell consisted of lavender and other fragrant buds as well as some caramel and a grassy hop.
The taste was unique in its estery floral elements. Elder flower and lavender added some spiciness and the moderate malt bill rounded out the flavor.
The mouthfeel was of average fullness for the style.
Overall a unique and tasty ale. By the way, this ale was a wedding ale brewed by the head brewer Hutch and his new bride.
