a very straightforward well built oatmeal stout, exactly what you should expect from the style. creamy, dark, bitter, drinkable. jet black hue to this one, with about an inch of sturdy mocha head. I can already tell a nitro pour would make this next level. dark coffee and burnt barley nose, with a classic English style ale yeast adding some biscuit notes to the mix. the flavor is great, dark and flavorful without being overbearing. the oats add a slight sweetness and a richness of feel that makes this style a winner. long lasting finish, inky feeling bitterness lasts on the tongue several minutes. robust full body but drinkably smooth. nicely crafted stout all up.

Served in a pint glass at the steak house. Dark brown in color with slight reddish hues and some light passing through the edges.
Aroma is very nice, of slightly roasted malts with a nice coffee and hint of oats.
Smooth, medium bodied and easy to drink. Personally, a little more body would have made this stout even better.
Overall, I think this was a very good oatmeal stout and is definitely worth a try.
