Ordered on tap at a restaurant in Goldsboro, NC because it was a local beer I hadn't heard of. It turned out to be a very pleasant surprise when it was a well-made and tasty pepper beer.
Has pleasant Irish Red Ale malt notes in aroma and flavor with a subtle but definite pepper heat and flavor overlaying them. Pepper beers are not a favorite of mine, but this was very enjoyable and I'd definitely have it again.
