On tap at Cest What with my Jadoreblanche and DOugshoemaker! Body is sparkling gold, full of bubbles, with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet hoppy watery. Worthers caramel casndies. Taste is malty but only slightly, buttery, and candyish. Not too bad at all. Bitter aftertaste, watery finish. Fun name, fun beer. Thanks for this info Doug! Tastes Jan 2nd, 2005.

An interesting though average brew, also known as "Shampoo" for its foamy appearance. Its yeasty, but no character to the yeast. Its creamy, but there's nothing distinct here, maybe a tad of malts. On tap at Volo Caffe, with Doug Shoemaker.

Bottled, fresh from the brewery. A nice orange-gold colored lager with moderate carbonation and a good rocky head that lingers as lace. Smells of musty rye under floral hop tones. Sturdy, medium bodied, starts smooth with a good balance of tangy hops (New Zealand?) pitted against an ample malty redolence which does turn very "biscuity towards the end" ....and the finish is earthy-buscuity and tangy from the hops. A nicely put together lager. Very much in the vien of old style Canadian lagers before corn and mega brewers destroyed Canadian lager.
