Sampled from a 10 liter draft caddy at the brewery. The brewer let me in on the secret of this beer and I aint tellin except to say that he was going for the Steelback experience....and he certainly acheived it with this lagerale.
;-)
I had a laugh seeing this getting lower scores than some Steelback beer and higher than some Neustadt beers...ratings are certainly a funny thing . There are a lot of raters who gave this a thumbs up with egg on their face.

Pours a clear gold, small white head forms, goes fast, no lacing. Smell is sweet and malty, caramel, some honey, little bit of grape. Taste is grainy, some citrus, honey, very weak. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation, very weak, not too pleasant. Definately not up to standard for this brewery.
