Sampled at CÂ’est What? beer fest. Burnished gold appearance. What really surprised me here was the presence of orange in both the aroma and the flavour. Almost felt more like a fruit beer than a pale ale. That said, it was extremely refreshing, and would make a good palate cleanser.

Pours a clear orange, thin white head forms, some lace spots, settles to a thin ring. Smell is neat, sweet, caramel, very nutty, cola, touch of floral. Taste is very nutty, floral, caramel, bread, spicy bitter nuttiness in the finish, pretty good. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium to light body. The finish is really unique, nutty bitterness works very well.
