JANUARY 2025.
It's a collaboration between the Italian brewery BIBIBIR and the Czech brewery PIVOVAR ZICHOVEC.
On tap (6€ 40 cl glass at the pub).
Intense golden color, topped with a soft foam of medium consistency and flavorful.
On the nose mainly notes of cereal, ears of wheat and bread making.
In the mouth medium/light body.
Herbaceous entry taste, of freshly cut field grass, light earthy reference (they seem to me to be the characteristics of the noble Czech hop Saaz): it remains fresh and ends with a bitterness that is not intense but certainly perceptible and that closes the drink in a dry way.
The bitter finish is toned down by the re-emergence of soft notes of bread making and toasted cereal (rusks, breadsticks).
On the palate fresh and clean taste, same cleanliness on the tongue.
I don't find any honeyed note, the "soft" is only given by the notes of bread crust.
Quick, fresh, thirst-quenching and lively drink with respect for the historical style of belonging.
