I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured an opaque black with tan head that is leaving some lace. The scent had hints of coffee. The taste is nicely balanced and easy to drink. There is espresso and touches of milk chocolate. This is borderline watered down coffee.....need to get a bit more on Mouthfeel as it a touch light in body. Overall it's good.....the nitro version is much better.

On tap at Temperance Row brewpub as Forty Ton Porter.
Dark brown but clear body with a thin beige head.
Aroma: toasted malts with hints of toffee and chocolate.
Flavor: nutty with plenty of roasted malts and a touch of dark chocolate. Very good sweet-bitter balance.
