Almost opaque black color with a soft copper hue. Moderately creamy and bubbly light brown 2-3 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with poor legs but decent swirl reaction and lace. Flavors of bourbon, wood, dark berries, dark malts, walnuts, coffee, cacao, wild yeast, and herbal hops. Oily and silky medium body with shy carbonation. Medium to strong strength finish, slightly roasted with a mild barrel aged feel. Lacks a bit of flavors (fruitiness) and complexion. Though good freshness for a porter. Overall good quality craft.
