Had at a music club. 12 ounce can poured into a pint glass. Dark maroon body topped by a small pinkish head. Smell was very berry concentrated with a mild funk underpinning it. Taste had the sour dominant but still enough of a fruit presence to be pleasurably tasty. I'll probably try it again if nothing else available is more appealing to what I'm in the mood for.

Ale with raspberries and blackberries. 6.1% ABV and 3.2 pH. Poured from a bottle into a La Fin du Monde tulip. The pour is a bit of a surprise. For some reason, I expected the beer to be pale yellow, but this beer is hazy and has a beautiful bright red color. It sports a very thin layer of head that quickly dissipates (not surprising considering the acidity). I dig the nose a lot. It has a strong berry presence, almost like puree. It made me think of Frankenberry cereal.
The beer has a firm feel, light body, and a dry, mildly tart flavor. Unfortunately, the fruit promised by the nose didn't quite deliver. The flavor is very faint and a little musty, but there are no intense fruity flavors to match those wonderful aromas on the nose. The mild acidity makes the beer very drinkable and thirst-quenching, but overall I found the flavor to be rather hollow and badly in need of additional flavors (especially a little bit of balancing sweetness). It's not bad, but it's neither "sour" nor "berry" enough to sport the name "Sour Berry Bomb." It is also worth pointing out that this beer was very reasonably priced for a sour (about $14 for six 12-oz bottles).
