A double dry-hopped IPA brewed with 44 lbs. of Mandarina Bavaria hops and 33 lbs. of Mosaic hops per 30 BBL batch. Delivering a blast of citrus fruit aromas to a balanced and crisp IPA base.

Cards with messages had been sporadically created and posted by individuals since the beginning of postal services. The earliest known picture postcard was a hand-painted design on card, posted in Fulham in London by the writer Theodore Hook to himself in 1840, and bearing a penny back stamp.

12 oz can from the source...canned 11-21-18

Medium hazed and tan larger bubble cap, clears out pretty quickly and leave a very minor trace of lacing

Herbal tea and slight citrus on the nose

Moderately sour, more citrus, more herbs, drying but mild hip presence late...tart, refreshing and well worth a try

12 oz can poured into a willybecher glass canned on 8/3.

A: Not much of a Head body is a crystal clear light amber color.

S: This beer smells awful, at first blush it smells like pure unadulterated shit. Underneath is a very strong herb smell like rosemary and garlic.

T: the herb flavor is right up front then very light bits of citrus and some sourness finishing with a little wheat taste.

M: medium bodied.

O: this is a horrific beer and it shouldn’t be consumed by anyone.

12 oz can stamped 8/3/18

It is a hazy, orange gold. Decent sized off white froth leaves a film on top.

The aroma is an odd and off putting. Mostly sour. Like stomach acid. Some pine and herbs. I swear there is a roemary smell to it. Also some grapefruit, peach, and lemon-lime.

Although I am not in love with the flavor, it tastes much better than it smells to me. Some mosaic hop flavors come through. Peach, mango, grapefruit... pretty earthy/musty. The sourness is there with some orange. Quite a bit of lactic acid. Bitter and resinous. Lingering grains. Prominent. Almost a wheat tatse. Dry pithy finish. I might be in the minority, but I wouldn’t drink this one again.

12 FL OZ. can
Served in a tulip glass

This beer pours amber in color with golden highlights and has a slight haze. It is topped with an off white head that disappears quickly leaving no lacing.

The aroma is tart citrus.

The flavor is pretty much the same. I get citrus upfront. The tart flavor comes through in the middle and lingers into the finish. It has a slightly dry finish.

Medium bodied with a slightly dry mouthfeel

This is a solid dry hopped sour. The six pack will go down easy enough.

12 ounce can, canned on 08/03/2018. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention is good and there's a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like tropical fruit, grapefruit, peach, bready malt, citrus peel, lime and melon. Taste is similar to the aroma, with mango, pineapple, bready/grainy malt, melon, apricot, grassy hops, tropical fruit, citrus peel, earthy and white grape flavors noticeable. Decent amount of tartness, too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this sour IPA, Urban Artifact did a good job with this one. Recommended to IPA and/or sour fans. $2.00 a single can.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/5/2018. Pours moderately hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tart lemon, lime, mandarin orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, green apple, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, white wine, citrus peel/rind, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, light musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart lemon, lime, mandarin orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, green apple, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, white wine, citrus peel/rind, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, light musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness; and lactic tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, mandarin orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, green apple, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, white wine, citrus peel/rind, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, light musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/tartness balance, and no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/tartness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly crisp/acidic/sticky/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.2%. Overall this is an excellent Sour IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/acidic/drying finish, not overly lactic. Great Mandarina Bavaria and Mosaic profile. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hops with balanced Brett/Lacto complexity; great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

A little less than two months old when reviewed. Poured from 12 oz. can into Spiegelau IPA glass. It pours a cloudy golden-orange color with a half finger of foamy, bright-white head that faded slowly leaving some soapy lacing inside the glass. It has an aromatic smell of tangerine, onion, lemon, and sweet malt with light floral hops. It's most definitely sour and features puckeringly tart lemon, tangerine, and grapefruit with a dose of bitter Mosaic and Mandarina hops. It presents a nice combination of tart citrus and bitter hops. It features lively carbonation and is crisp and refreshing with a surprisingly potent 7.2% ABV. This IPA really grew on me as I sipped it. It's a very nice beer to drink on a hot summer's day.

Pours hazy orange. Foamy, medium, white head. Can says double dry hopped sour, but all other descriptions make no mention of sour.

Smells citrus, orange peel, light tartness, light Funk and wine hints.

Tastes orange, tart citrus, funk, bready malt and light wine. Followed by fruity and bread, almost like fruit loops and citrus peel. Dry finish with orange peel linger. Medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.
