Clear burnt gold with a thin but fuzzy tan head quickly dying off to nothing.
That caraway rye flavor is fucking spot on and it's just perfectly, lightly tart with a faint salinity. Hints of lemon and green apple accent the background. It's just so much like a drinkably tart, beautifully toasted slice of rye bread in beer form it's absolutely delicious and I have no idea why it works so well, nor also why I wouldn't have thought it'd would going into it.
The round medium body has a light crispness and finishes semi-dry.
