Looks like this has also returned for 2022, it's definitely dialed in and great at being what it says it is. It tastes like a spicy pickle for sure lol. That being said kinda did not need a 4 pack of this but oh well

16 oz can
Pours hazy yellow, bubbly white head quickly dissipates to nothing.
Aroma is of brine, dill, cucumber, and citrus tartness.
Flavor is briney and immediately but not overwhelmingly capsaicin spicy. Followed by coriander, cucumber, dill, and ending with a mild citrus tartness.
Light body, stinging carbonation on the tongue, although part of the stinging sensation is probably the spice.
So I actually like this a lot, but I'm not sure if I think it's legitimately good or just a fun gimmick. It drinks easily enough and the spice doesn't linger so it's not a challenge to get it down. It really does taste remarkably like dill pickles in the best possible way for a beer. Honestly I would drink more of this on occasion, probably in hot weather. But it's weird enough that it probably only has niche appeal for most drinkers.

L: A translucent deep orange tending towards peach hue. A head disappears as quickly as it forms, leaving a flat looking brew behind.
S: Wow! They’re not kidding around. An impressively powerful but not overbearing aroma of fresh cut English cucumbers and gourmet pickling liquid, rich with salt, dill, and pepper.
T: Better than it smells. It follows the nose but more pickle juice and a nice spicy heat that sets in there perfectly. The coriander is there too, but just rounding things off in the background.
F: Good carbonation. Spot on. Not too thin or heavy. The perfect weight and mouthfeel for the theme.
O: To my surprise I’m finding that I prefer the vegi-based Gose over the fruited ones, and this is a new favorite I hope to find again. Must be a love or hate beer, I find 3.93 criminally underrated. If only I’d bought many more!

1 pint can
Served in a snifter
This beer pours a hazy yellow hue. It is topped with a fleeting, beige head that leaves no trace of its existence.
The smell is briny cucumber. Hints of hot sauce.
It really tastes more like a salty cucumber than a pickle. I get a little tickle from hot peppers.
Thin bodied with a semi dry mouthfeel
My buddy loves this beer, so I decided to give it a whirl. It is interesting. I am not mad I bought it. I doubt I buy it again though.

The best word to describe this beverage ... "Interesting!" ... Like the bottom of the pickle jar and a hearty dose of tobasco ... May need an antacid but very, very interesting

As if the taste of pickle brine wasn't divisive enough, Urban Artifact doubles down on their epicurean nature with a hit of chili peppers. Where they hit a crescendo with the spicy pickle flavor, the audience for this ale may be thin.
Innocent enough in its glowing golden appearance, Epicurean Spicy Pickle crowns with a fluffy white cap for that classic Gose look. A tangy and peppery scent drifts onto the nose with the curious nature of pickling spice, citrus, wine, cider and a green scent of cucumber that just wakes up the senses. Lighter sweetness gives the tongue and even coat of sourdough, saltwater taffy and agave.
The pickling spices of coriander, dill, bay, allspice and peppercorn are curious flavors that ride along with the pop of citrus from the beer's natural acidity. Yuzu, lime, lemon, grapefruit, white grape, gooseberry and apple all play into the beer's vinous and cleanly lactic sourness as the heat starts to build. The brightness of cucumber brings a "neon" character to the middle palate while a spicier than expected hit of ancho decorates and enlivens the palate late.
Medium light in body for sour ale and especially Gose, the beer's spicy warmth, mild alcohol, and bracing acidity that carries a dry palate into a racy mouthfeel and and an earthy, bright, tangy and spicy set of complexities. Finishing swiftly with a quick scrub of acid, the beer lingers long with the slight smoky, peppery taste of Mexican-syle chilies.

16 ounce can, canned on 06/25/20. Served in an Urban Artifact chalice, the beer pours a hazy gold color with almost an inch white head. Head retention is decent, and there's a small amount of lacing. Aroma is nice the brew smells like cucumber, dill, salt and coriander. Doesn't smell spicy. Luckily there is spicy pepper in the taste, it's not strong but definitely noticeable. The spice doesn't overpower the cucumber, dill, salt and coriander flavors although the heat gets a little stronger as the beer warms. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit slick and has a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this, certainly worth trying if you're into spicy tasting brews!

Finally worked up the nerve to try this one. Gose with cucumbers, sea salt, fresh dill, coriander, and a spicy pepper blend. Poured from a can into a La Fin du Monde tulip. The pour is light orange, hazy, and sports a massive white rocky head with excellent retention for a sour beer. The nose is a lot like regular Pickle. You get the cucumber and dill and all that wonderful lemon-like acidity, but the peppers really come through as well.
Light body with a delicate feel and that classic (polarizing - people either love it or hate it) Pickle flavor (I won't restate my impressions - read the review). Then, right at the back of the palate, those peppers come through. It adds considerable complexity and adds a nice lingering heat to the finish.
