12 ounce can, canned on 10/20/20. Served in an Urban Artifact chalice, the beer pours a cloudy pinkish/red color with about an inch white head. Head retention is good, and there's a decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells mostly like cranberries and lemon, along with a bit of bready malt. Taste is similar to he aroma, but with the addition of some red berries, vanilla, salt and wheat/grainy flavors. Nice amount of tartness here. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this brew a lot, this will definitely be a repeat purchase for me!

With the holidays coming up, there's always a sense of nostalgia that surrounds the flavors of Thanksgiving. But thanks to Urban Artifact, there's no sacrifice of tradition when developing new beer flavor. Their cranberry and lime sour ale certainly serves as a placeholder for traditional cranberry sauce.
Pale and cloudy rouge, Trivet builds a creamy froth above its light and silted body. Brisk aromas of tart red berries circulate align with a citrusy tone and a hint of wheat germ. But as the flavors splash against the tastebuds, the early palate picks up on those sourdough, taffy and light bread sweetnesses.
The ale quickly ushers onto the middle palate where a world of acidity awaits. Highlighted by cranberry, a tangy rose wine flavor is pushed to the sour side with lime and an naturally occurring lemon, crabapple, gooseberry, grapefruit and passionfruit sourness that supports the fruit and ensures an enduring bready and sour interplay late in taste.
Medium light on the palate, the sour ale isn't quite as sharp as Berlinerweiss but is more sour than classic Gose. Its fruit overlay aids its sourness, briskness and refreshment while also giving it an element of excitement and roundness as it finishes acutely sour and with a brief echo of sourdough to finish.

A mellow 4.5% made overwhelming with 750 pounds of cranberry tartness. Not balanced at all but an excellent fruit punch flavored beer. Get it while you can, and if you are ambitious, use it to cut your sangria or as a base for some really exotic mixed drinks.
Also works as a straight up beer, which is how I enjoyed it.

Hazy salmon reddish-pink with a short light white-pinkish blanket.
I just could not get down with this beer. The cherry limeade tartness skirts way too close to house cleaner for me.
