Darkly opaque of evenly dispersed suspended sediments and fruit particles, this displays as mauve purple with a loud fizzy burgundy head that dies off quickly.
Tart, juicy and herbal, the light lifting effervescence explodes with sour dark berries galore. There's not not much coffee at first, then after the second sip brings extra seediness, almost like a raspberry, the earthy coffee does surface and it's very unique, but mild.
The majority of the experience is obviously the tart fruited sour, but a little bit of toasted biscuit emerges on the exhale as it warms.

500 ml corked and caged bottle, 2019 vintage. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a reddish/purple color with about an inch pink cola-like head that fizzled away quickly. Not much lacing at all. I like the aroma, the brew smells like marionberries, red grapes, coffee, vanilla and oak. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some grainy malt and peanut flavors noticeable. In a way it reminds me of a tart peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a pretty tasty brew, hopefully Urban Artifact will bring this one back in the future!
