Hazy pale amber-orange with a loud head that fizzles out instantly.
Another super effervescent brew by Urban Artifact that actively spritzes your nose when you bring it up to your lips. On the tongue brings a prickly, sense awakening tart sour lemon hit up front, where the herbal basil delightfully comes through at the same time, with that hint of licorice amped up by a nice funky oak.
Then the strawberry presence thankfully surfaces, not getting lost as it often can in American wild ales, providing a nice wild, jammy accent, and even that unique funk that develops in some strawberry brews, like Jester King's Omniscience & Proselytism. Its moderately-light body comes to paper dry finish, where it becomes a little lactic in the exhale.

500 ml corked and caged bottle, 2019 vintage. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a slightly hazy golden/orange color with about a half inch off-white head. Head retention is decent, and there's a small amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like strawberries, lemon, vanilla, oak, funk and basil. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some bready malt and apple cider vinegar flavors. Strawberry, lemon and basil flavors stand out to me. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good fruity sour ale, certainly worth picking up!
