16.9 ounce caged and corked bottle, 2019 vintage. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a slightly hazy gold color with about an inch cola like white head that fizzled away quickly. The brew smells like leafy greens (I'm guessing Arugula and Endive since I don't think I've made a point to smell them before), carrots, garlic, onion, peppercorns, lemon and grainy malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, starts off with a tart lemon and earthy taste, then the greens, onion, carrot, garlic, white grape, peppercorn and grainy malt flavors kick in. Good amount of tartness and vegetal flavor overall. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's coating and has a moderate amount of carbonation. Probably one of the most unique beers I've ever had, and the taste is really like the label description. Not many breweries that I could trust to pull this brew off, but Urban Artifact did. Probably not something I could drink every day, but I would like to try it again in the future. Certainly worth a try, I did like it more the longer I drank it!
