500 ml corked and caged bottle, 2019 vintage (DEC 2019 on label). Served in an Urban Artifact Barrel Aged glass, the beer pours a mostly clear golden/orange color with about a half inch off-white head that didn't stick around for very long. Not much lacing. The brew smells mostly like dill pickles, salt, cucumber and a bit of red grapes/wine. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some herbal and oaky flavors noticeable too. Not exactly sure what kind of barrels this was aged in, I'm thinking wine but it is a nice change from the base pickle beer. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and a bit slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. Easy enough to drink. Not sure if I should have drank this fresher or not. I thought it was good, wishing I would have bought another bottle when I had the chance to!
