Cloudy fruit punch body, thick cap of pinkish cream bubbles. Smells of a gourmet fruit punch: pineapple, passion fruit, cherry especially, very light. Taste is not as deep but the same vibrant fruity flavors exude cheer, dragon fruit is now found. Not complex, but a fun fruit punch of a beer. Feel is thinner but has a sneaky tart front. Early summer for this one friends

With the copious additions of red dragon fruit, cherries, pineapple and passionfruit urban artifact's "fruit punch" of a sour has become a whole new animal. Releasing this dragon never tasted so good.
Deep and rosy mauve, Dragons unleashes a frothy, fizzy, lively froth and also a mesmerizing bouquet of tropical, berry, dark fruit whimsy upon the nose. A deliciously sweet and jammy taste makes first introductions as the tastebuds are wrapped in a blanket of pastry, sherbet and cobbler.
As the sweet and sour medley washes the middle palate, the sweetness dampens slightly to allow the acidity to take the lead. Along with the tropical succulence of pineapple and passionfruit, the citrusy sourness of the underlying ale adds its own racy and tangy underpinnings that are rife with lime, lemon and grapefruit. Throw in the robust cherry flavors and the beer's fruit cocktail is complete. Low on bitterness, sourness doesn't just balance the sweetness, it carries the flavor load.
Medium bodied for sour ale but quite light and easy throughout, the hefty fruit taste reads as a fuller texture as well. A vinous spice of red wine and a gentle hint of burlap decorates the finish with a juicy but arid aftertaste at the same time- quite a unique but understated beer.

Appearance: The vaugely pink head builds to a finger with a bubble show but then fades somewhat quickly; below the foam is a clear liquid, the color of cherry juice; spotty lacing
Smell: Dragon fruit, cherry and pineapple; sweet and tart
Taste: Sweet tropical fruits, on the front end, with the dragon fruit, pineapple and cherry flavors blending; through the middle, the tart flavors of passionfruit emerge, creating a sweet-tart impression that lingers into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Hard to believe the ABV is 10% as it drinks as if it were at half that level; tasty and different
Thanks, Manta200, for the opportunity

A: The beer is a little hazy reddish purple in color. It poured with a narrow collar of off white bubbles around the edge of the glass and some lacing on the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of dragon fruit and cherries are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of cherries along with notes of dragon fruit and hints of passion fruit.
M: It feels a bit shy of being medium-bodied and somewhat smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer definitely tastes like an adult version of a fruit punch and hides any traces of alcohol very well from the taste.
Serving type: can

The body has a beautiful burnt coral red hue under a dense moderate head that settles to a persistent blanket leaving some thin arms of fine lacing on the glass.
Toasty malt and a little salt meet lightly tart dragon fruit, but it's far more malty than I expected.
The medium-light body's crackly carbonation comes to a semi-dry, semi-sticky finish.

L -- Lovely nectarine-hued body with moderate clarity and two fingers of very faint pink head produced with moderate pour. Decent retention and lacing. Looks less pulpy and more beer-like than the other Urban Artifact offerings I've had to date, which is a good sign
S -- Dragonfruit, passionfruit, cherry, sulphur, wheat, dried lemon peel
T -- Dragonfruit, red grape, maraschino cherry, lemon candy, bit of wheat astringency
F -- Light mouthfeel, medium+ carb. Bit watery around the edges, especially for 10%ABV. I would have guessed 4%
O -- The thing that impresses me most about this one is how easy drinking it is despite the high ABV
76/100

12 fl oz can
Served in a snifter
This beer pours a deep orange color with hints of burgundy. It is topped with less than an inch of tan head that leaves no lacing.
The smell is tart with red fruit. I have never had dragon fruit.
It has a tropical and red fruit flavor. The finish is slightly tart.
Medium to thin bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
This is very drinkable given the abv. I like this beer. Glad I picked it up. Urban Artifact rarely disappoints.

I have had so many delicious brews from Urban Artifact that I always assume that their new ones will be great too. This one proves that to be good logic.
It pours a dirty red, somewhat translucent, but cloudy, and with little head. The aroma is of scary fruit punch - dark, boozy, yeasty, fermented fruit punch. Not a chick drink by smell, and not by taste either. It is full bodied and tart. You can tell by how it sits in your mouth that having more than one is something you may regret later - it gives fair warning.
Recommended. One of these days if I get to Cinci for some reason I will need to go to their pub - they are easily my favorite Cincinatti brewer.
