A petroglyph is a carving made by chiseling away at a rock surface to reveal the lighter rock underneath. Typically associated with prehistoric peoples, these engravings usually told a story of mythology based on the culture of the creator. This exotic Midwest Fruit Tart is made with lychee, a tropical fruit native to South East Asia.

Golden color. Medium-sized, white head. Malt and light fruity notes ( grape mostly) in the aroma. Sour taste with a sweet malty background. Alcohol is not even noticeable.

12 ounce can, canned 06/08/22. Seems this one got pushed to the back of my fridge, should have reviewed this long before now. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a somewhat hazy gold color with about an inch and a half off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like lychee, bready malt and some earthy/floralness. Taste is similar to the aroma, even though it's about a year old the Lychee stands out compared to the other flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, recommended especially if you like lychee! I'll make sure to try it fresher next time around.

12 fl oz can
Served in a snifter

This beer pours golden with a slight haze to it. It is topped with a fleeting head.

It smells tart. I get hints of hibiscus and rose petals along with green apple and grape must.

Tart flavor. I get pear with a little Granny Smith apple.

Medium to thin bodied wtih a slightly dry mouthfeel

I'm a big fan of Urban Artifact. I hate that cocksucker uban meyer though.
