The entire contents of two twelve ounce cans were deposited into a clear glass liter mug. A proper light violet head was produced by the actions. The color of the liquid beneath is dark mauve and it's opaque, without being murky. The solid fruity sour aroma is distinct, although the actual fruit isn't that easily determined. Its taste is tart from the beginning and it is of plum. Immediately, this becomes an excellent Fruited Sour experience and nothing about that changes throughout the drinking experience. Although it's more tart than sour, there is some sourness included. The fruit provides just enough sweetness for a foil and completes the overall taste. Its mouthfeel is light, yet sufficient. The finish is puckering and dry. There's even some nice glass lacing to attest to its body to observe. In short, this is an excellent Fruited Sour Ale.

12 FL OZ can
Served in a tulip glass

This beer pours a murky, purple hue and is highly effervescent. It is topped with a couple inches of pink tinged tan head that leaves little lacing.

It has a tart and vinous aroma.

Delicious plum flavor. The vanilla enhances the sweetness but still allows the tartness to come through wonderfully.

Fuller bodied with a creamy mouthfeel

This plum sour is plumb good.

Just a smidge more than a fingers worth of fizzy active froth that has a very faint purple color about it... Modest retention... Color walks a fine line between bubble gum pink and light purple... Sweet nose... Baked good and dark fruits... Perhaps just a touch of vanilla along with the traditional sour notes... Palate is a mirror image of the nose and insanely enjoyable... Each sip leaves me wanted an immediate next one... Feel is medium bodied and ridiculously sleek and smooth... Some light prickly carbonation... Outstanding beer... One of my new favorites from a brewery I admire...

Huh. Never had one quite like this before. The color is some kind of pastel pink magenta with whitish pink foam. The taste is slightly sour, but not overly so. The plum and lactose blend nicely with a malty grain to create an intriguing finish that I can only describe as sweet plum cheerio sherbet. Overall it actually tastes pretty good.

Just in time for the holiday season, Urban Artifact uses the flavors of both plum, vanilla and milk sugar for a beer worthy of dancing in the heads of sour ale fans.

Sugar Plum pours milky peach with hints of blush as the sediment disperses. Floating a light tarnish froth, the bubbles settle as a creamy fruitiness emerges with the soft stone fruit presence backed with a tangy perfume of wine, cider and citrus. A creamy sweet taste of fruit sugars blend with cereal, milk sugars and the sweetness of powdered sugar for somewhat of a sorbet upstart.

With the juiciness of vanilla cream wrapping around the plum additions as well as the natural fruitiness of white grape, green apple, gooseberry and passionfruit, the sweeter take on sour ale is subtle and soothing. Trailing into a tangy sweet finish of sweetart candies, the late palate is soft and sour.

Medium bodied for sour ale, the session concludes with a lightly candied effect with tartness, peppery tannins and softness that persists into a juicy but somewhat short afterglow.

Drank from can. Sweet vanilla plum aroma. Quite sweet, has a pronounced plum flavor, lots of sweet lactose, finish is a bit alcoholy. Firm carbonation. Overall a tasty fruit tart, not a single and that was perfect.

12 ounce can, canned 12/01/22. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a pinkish/orange color with about an inch or so frothy off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like vanilla, cream and some plums. Taste is similar to the aroma but there's also some bready malt and a bit of tart citrus noticeable too. Plum shows up more in the flavor, nice amount of tart and sweet flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick, smooth and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good enjoyable sour ale, glad I got a 6 pack of this one!

This was wonderful, spice filled and creamy and the more I drank it the more the fruit came out. Subtle tartness. I'm really enjoying Urban Artifact as a whole. Would like to try something that isn't a sour but obviously it's what they excel at
