one of the more unique non alcoholic beers ive encountered, a lightly sour and fruit forward brew, almost drinks like kombucha, good kombucha, a light tangy vinegar thing to it more than a robust lactic acidity, and the fruit is jammy and sweet and pleasant, not a lot of malt to this really, but its not missing to me either, kind of beer adjacent, but a nice option, i was impressed with it overall. actually my first ever beer from these guys, been hearing their name awhile, solid and fun. the color is cool, jewel red with light cloudiness, short head and not much retention but its stays nice and fizzy almost like a soda the whole time, nice ruby hue. aroma of strawberry jam, strawberry kombucha, and strawberry hard candy, which i guess is to say it smells like strawberries! quite apparent its done with real fruit which is groovy, not super sour which is also smart, and juicy and not overly complex, almost kids drink vibes to this, sweet for sure, but strawberries are sweet and its not out of place, light vinous character as it warms, maybe off gassing a little sulfur at first, but cleaner later i think. the flavor is like the nose, sweet and just tart with that light vinegar finish but not harsh at all, plenty drinkable, i like the sweetness and the overall intensity and obviousness of the strawberries, thats the point and its real well executed. im missing beer elements, namely malt and hops, but i suppose the bit of fermentation character brings it close enough to be passable. more than anything its a tasty flavorful alterative which in truth is far preferable to the masses of lousy non alcoholic actual beers, so i found this a nice change of pace. its always good to have choices, and that of course extends to the non alcoholic crowd too, and in that context this is great.

What right does this have being this good? Absolutely delectable backyard strawberry jam, effervescent but not weightless static electricity like your typical seltzer.
