The Syracuse pink lemon is intense. Delicious, sour, but balanced by our unique blend of base malt and hybrid yeasts.

Peristery means Pigeon Lore. So sip this Fruit Tart and start telling stories about your "favorite" urban birds. We're here. We're listening.

Oh my guhhhhhh. Fantastic shit again from my favorite fruity ale providers. Fye af. Although the citrus is obviously a strong force it is a nuanced flavor that is really well balanced on the finish. Lemons from Syracuse might not find confidence in the culinary world, but ignoring that the miserable New York upstate city may produce any citrus, the Italian Siracuse region proves different. Regardless of it's origins, Urban Artifact is going to use them as they aren't afraid to be pigeonholed as a sour ale maker.

Peristery hits the glass with a faintly lemon yellow appearance capped with a part-fizzy, part-froth foam and teasing the nose with a striking scent of sweet lemons and complementary citrus, wine and cider. Its gentle sweetness greets the tongue with a simple syrup lightness laced with light sourdough and lychee. The boldness of those lemon additions shine on the middle palate as a taste of limoncello, sangria and lemon bellini adds a cocktail flare ahead of a brisk acidity of lemon, lime, green apple, gooseberry and white grape.

Medium bodied for sour ale but lighter overall, the session is a highly thirst quenching, palate refreshing and pleasantly tart session that begs for summer days, a front porch and a rocking chair.
